Diets don’t work for the long term. The fact is, diet is a short term plan for a lifelong problem. This is one of the reasons why most people enjoy a little weight loss while on a special diet and then once they cannot continue with the diet, they gain the weight they lost back and then sometimes more. Most diets are restrictive in some or many areas. Either they restrict calories, certain food categories that restrict much needed nutrients, or both. A balanced food intake with daily activity is the only true weight to gain control of a body weight problem and maintain control.
